Gelandangan

 

 

Salam! Hello, hola, hoi hoi.

 

 

Kali ini daku baru ada peluang untuk kotakan janji yang dah berhari-hari. Asyik-asyik taip status nanti nak update, tapi berpuluhan hari baru lah I got chance. ;') Kekangan masa gitu.

 

 

Gelandangan?! Siapa mereka?! Do you know them? In English known as homeless. Tetapi ini pon masih kurang jelas apakah repekan daku sekarang kannnn :) Gelandangan/ homeless ini adalah mereka yang hidup tanpa tempat perlindungan, situasi memaksa mereka terjadi begini, ada yang bekerja tetapi tidak mampu untuk membayar sewa. Kehidupan di kota KL amatlah tinggi kosnya.

 

 

This may be lengthy update. I have been there as a volunteer, to distribute food frequently. I know about this charity project from my facebook friend.  Thank for spreading out this info ya! So, every time I went out joining them, I'll invite my friend came along. Luckily, all of them very supportive and enjoyed.

 

 

This project handled by Pertiwi Soup Kitchen, where Puan Munirah Abdul Hamid actively involved to ensure all things running smoothly. When you reach there, must be a lot of scenario will be seen. oh ya! Last time, I have been there with Syikin Muhammad, my friend just graduated from usm. She loves doing any activities instead of goyang kaki kat rumah, even we are unemployed. When people do not have a proper life's living, they always fighting. haha! even yang ada rumah pon macam anjing dan kucing. baling periuk belanga berabis pungpangpungpangpiungggg. ini drama!

 

 

Real drama : Two people , a girl and a man. Maybe homeless scandal. bahahahahaha.

 

Man : woi woi aku dah jaga kau lama dah. Kau selalu cakap aku nak tinggalkan kau. apehal.

Girl : Dia pukul aku.

Man : Kau memang perempuan taksedar diri eeh! aku dah jaga kau dari dulu. Waktu kau sakit. kau kena rogol tu semua aku yang jaga.

* a girl keep silent , hide.

Man : Pukimak punya perempuan, sial la kau! Kau memang nak kena dgn aku ni.

 

 

 

 

I was scared that time. :(  What crossed in my mind, kesiannya mereka tidak cukupan bermacam-macam. Tak dapat ilmu, ajaran agama, kewangan, pelindungan.

Kita bertuah miliki tempat perlindungan, tapi mereka bersusah payah mencari perlindungan dan tinggal di jalanan dengan pelbagai sebab munasabab. Ada yang bekerja dan tak mampu membayar sewa rumah, ada yang sakit mental dan tidak mendapat pertolongan , ada yang terjebak HIV/aids dan di buang keluarga dan masyarakat.

 

 

As long as there are human beings in need, it’s our responsibility to help them and look out for them. We are indeed very fortunate to have a roof on our heads, an Internet connection and are reading this article from the comfort of our homes, offices or a super expensive Galaxy S3. We take these comforts for granted, but believe me, after seeing some of the things I have seen on the streets of KL, we are in many ways truly blessed.

 

The next time, if you drive in KL and seeing them sleeping in the street with smell of urine, rat sniffing around them , shelter themselves with a plastic when raining. Consider this; they are someone's child and has a story. Please! Please! Please don't straight away complaining ,condemning and judging them in harsh.
